23 Jul Tissue engineering reactor having tissue cultures tension-compression and rotation functions
Abstract
The invention provides a tissue engineering reactor with the functions of tensioning, compressing and rotating of tissue culture. The tissue engineering reactor comprises a tissue culture cavity, a culture solution perfusion circuit which penetrates through the tissue culture cavity, a first holding device and a second holding device which are arranged inside the tissue culture cavity and are used for arranging the tissue culture to be cultured between the first holding device and the second holding device, a tissue culture tension and compression driving device which is coupled with the first holding device and used for driving the first holding device to do reciprocating motion so as to tension and compress the tissue culture, and a tissue culture rotation driving device which is coupled with the first holding device and the second holding device and used for driving the tissue culture arranged between the first holding device and the second holding device to rotate. The tissue engineering reactor can load periodical axial tension and compression on the tissue culture in the course of culture and cause the tissue culture to rotate, which has excellent adjustability and controllability and good mass transfer performance.
