Abstract
The invention discloses a tissue engineering liver model and a construction method and application thereof. The tissue engineering liver model is made by using liver-like seed cells to cyclically perfuse an acellular liver bio-matrix scaffold, and performing re-cellularization. The tissue engineering liver model includes: a tissue engineering liver organ model which is suitable for safety assessment of massive unknown hepatotoxic drugs, Chinese herbs, compounds, chemicals, cosmetics and the like, with screening accuracy improved; a tissue engineering liver organ model subjected to complete revascularization and which is directly applicable to transplanting of humanized-liver mice, liver transplanting for patients with hepatic failure and other aspects, which can provide functional liver replacements transplanting, and which has a promising application prospect; a tissue engineering liver disease model applicable to the research on the toxic mechanism of known hepatoxic drugs.
