TISSUE ENGINEERING BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER SCAFFOLD AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT

Abstract

The present invention relates to a biodegradable polymer scaffold for tissue engineering, and to a manufacturing method thereof. More particularly, a biodegradable flavonoid solid dispersion is manufactured by increasing solubility of poorly soluble flavonoid using a water soluble polymer, thereby having enhanced bioavailability. In the case of using the biodegradable flavonoid solid dispersion to manufacture the biodegradable polymer scaffold for tissue engineering, the biodegradable polymer scaffold for tissue engineering has increased solubility of effective components, bioavailability, and has enhanced antioxidant and anti-inflammatory efficacy. Thus, the biodegradable polymer scaffold for tissue engineering has reduced inflammatory responses of a biopolymer, and excellent biocompatibility.
