Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tissue-engineered bone composition regarding the repair, recovery and tissue-engineering of the tissue-engineered bone composition, a bone tissue, a bone periodontal tissue. ;SOLUTION: The tissue-engineered bone composition contains amphiphilic peptide having self-organizing ability. In the presence of suitable electrolyte, the amphiphilic peptide forms nano fibers in the state of self-organizing and becomes peptide hydrogel. The peptide hydrogel functions as an osteogenic scaffold in a living body. The tissue-engineered bone composition is excellent in biocompatibility, and is excellent in flowability and formability, so that the defective or damaged section of the bone tissue or the bone periodontal tissue in the living body, for example, can be repaired, recovered and regenerated. ;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
