Abstract

The invention discloses a simple method of extracting a large amount of adult stem cells from a placenta specific tissue to produce biological agents. The method is characterized in that decomposition fluid is used to soak tissue and peel off and chop and screen and filter all tissue; the chopped substances are placed on a container coated with specific substances. The invention also discloses a method for adult stem cell culture by means of serum-free nutrient solution. During the culturing process, appropriate serum-free nutrient solution is adopted, and the undifferentiated adult stem cells can be cultured in the container coated with the specific substances. Accordingly, the hyperplasia and differentiation potential of the adult stem cells can be maintained. The method can be used for externally increasing adult stem cells without losing the duplicating and differentiating capability. The method of the invention can be applied in regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and demand of immunosuppressive performance, tissue repairing and hematopoietic function.
