Abstract
The present invention relates to a platform for three-dimensionally culturing microfluid, and a method for aligning gel using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an axon having certain directivity due to culturing of the axon in an aligned gel, and to a culturing method thereof. According to the present invention, a matrilgel is simply aligned in a microfluidic device without a special device and an additional material. Neurosphere cells cultured in the aligned gel according to the present invention can perfectly outstretch an axon in a straight line, and can three-dimensionally culture an axon derived from neural stem cells. In addition, gel alignment according to the present invention can be used in cell signal transmission, movement, and differentiation for tissue engineering.
