Abstract
The rectal wall temperature monitor used in biomedicine engineering technology consists of system unit and temperature measuring probe. The temperature measuring probe is inserted via anus into rectum, and its temperature sensor rectal wall adjacent closely to the prostate target tissue to take the temperature of the rectal wall correctly. The measured temperature information is transmitted via the cable to the system unit, and the system unit filters, amplifies the signal representing the rectal wall temperature information, converts the signal into digital amount for direct display. The temperature data may be also transmitted via RS232 serial interface to other relevant equipment. The present invention has simple structure, correct temperature measurement, low cost, and other advantages.
