Abstract
The invention discloses a surface bio-functionalization method of medical polymer material nanofiber. Chitosan nanofiber is prepared by the electrostatic spinning technology, and the nanofiber is subjected to functional modification using dopamine and keratin so as to improve the biocompatibility of the material and promote cell adhesion and proliferation. The preparation process comprises the following steps: 1) performing electrostatic spinning to obtain chitosan nanofiber; 2) soaking the nanofiber in a dopamine solution to improve the protein adhesion of the material surface; and 3) continuously soaking the spinning material in a keratin solution so that the keratin is adhered to the material surface. Experiments prove that the modified nanofiber has good biocompatibility and can remarkably promote cell growth. The method is also applicable to other medical polymer material nanofiber and has the advantages of easiness in operation, low cost and broad application prospect in the field of tissue engineering.
