Abstract
The invention discloses spherical calcium carbonate particles and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of biological material preparation. The diameter of the spherical calcium carbonate particles is 400-800 nm, the multi-scale particle size is in normal distribution, the surface is of a multi-hole structure, and the crystal form is vaterite. The preparation method comprises the steps that 1, a sodium polystyrenesulfonate (PSS) solution, a calcium salt solution and a carbonate solution are prepared; 2, the calcium salt solution is rapidly added into the PSS solution to obtain a mixed solution, and the carbonate solution is rapidly added into the PSS solution to obtain a mixed solution; 3, the PSS-calcium salt mixed solution is dropwise added into the PSS-carbonate mixed solution; 4, centrifugation and washing are performed, and spherical calcium carbonate particles are dried and collected. The preparation method is simple, good in repeatability, low in production cost and suitable for industrial production. The prepared spherical calcium carbonate particles are large in specific surface area, high in load efficiency, easy to degrade and the like, and have the wide application prospect in the fields of drug carriers, tissue engineering, catalysis and the like.
