Set of iron modified magnetic calcium phosphates comprises cement constituents facilitating e.g. cancer and tissue treatment

Abstract

The set of iron-modified magnetic calcium phosphates has CaO-P2O5-FeO ceramic setting properties when mixed with water. A cement incorporating the phosphates serves as a ferrofluid with magnetic properties after setting, and is advantageous in dentistry, in cancer treatment and in tissue engineering in general.
