Abstract

Provided is a scaffold for cell culture or tissue engineering. A scaffold according to an embodiment of the present invention has a fiber web of a three-dimensional network structure and formed by a supporting fiber. According to the present invention, a cell proliferation rate and a survival rate can be improved according to the provision of a microenvironment scaffold suitable for migration, proliferation, and differentiation of the cells to be cultured. In addition, because the scaffold can be removed easily, without physical or chemical stimulation to the cells cultured in the scaffold, the cultured cells are collected easily, and the scaffold can be transplanted in vivo while including the cultured cells. Furthermore, the shape/structure of the cells to be cultured can be cultured similarly to those of actual animal bodies such that the cultured cells can be more suitably applied to in vitro experimental models or animal internal bodies for transplantation. In addition, as the scaffold according to the embodiment of the present invention is modified into a substance that helps cell culture or differentiation, cell proliferation and survival of the cells can be further improved, and the cultured cells can be easily realized into a three-dimensional shape.
