Abstract
The invention provides a rice water-flooding inducing type tissue specific expression promoter Possub5 and application thereof, and provides an expression cassette containing the promoter and a plant expression carrier. A nucleic acid sequence of the promoter Possub5 is shown in 1-1862 sites of SEQ ID No:1, and 1862 alkaline groups are grown in the sequence. The promoter has the advantages that the promoter is mainly expressed at root, and is induced by water flooding; the promoter is applied into plant transgenic engineering; the promoter can start the expression of an exogenous gene in plant, the exogenous gene is especially driven to express at the rice root, but not express at other tissues of the plant, and the root property of the rice is improved; the survival and growth abilities of the rice under the water flooding condition are improved, and the ideal rice variety is cultured.
