Recycled fibroin fiber stent and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention relates to a recycled fibroin fiber stent and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method includes dissolving silk at the nano fibril level in salt-formic acid, drying to obtain a fibroin nano fibril film, dissolving the fibroin nano fibril film in a normal neutral salt solvent at the room temperature, performing dialysis to obtain a fibroin nano fibril water solution, adjusting the fibroin nano fibril water solution to a proper concentration, and performing a freeze drying process to obtain the recycled fibroin fiber stent. The recycled fibroin fiber stent is treated by organic solvent to be water-insoluble. The prepared stent is mainly made from recycled fibroin fibers with the diameters of 50 nanometers-10 micrometers, the structures of the fibers are quite beneficial to cell migration and tissue growth, and the stent is an ideal tissue engineering stent.
