23 Jul RECOMBINANT DENTIN SIALOPROTEIN FOR TOOTH REGENERATION
Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for promoting binding or proliferation of dental pulp cells which includes dentin sialoprotein as an active ingredient, to a method for inducing binding or proliferation of the dental pulp cells which includes steps of processing the dentin sialoprotein to the dental pulp cells, and to a composition for regenerating teeth or bone which includes the dentin sialoprotein as an active ingredient. By using the recombinant human dentin sialoprotein which can be mass produced using an expression vector, proliferation of the dental pulp cells can be promoted, cell adhesive ability can be increased, and differentiation from the dental pulp cells to odontoblast can be promoted. Therefore, the recombinant dentin sialoprotein of the present invention can be utilized for tissue engineering materials related to recovery and regeneration of teeth and bone tissues, medicines for regenerating dental bones, and medicine development fields.
