RADIATION INDUCED BIOMOLECULES-POLYMER PARTICLE GEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

RADIATION INDUCED BIOMOLECULES-POLYMER PARTICLE GEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE

Abstract

The present invention relates to a granular polymer gel for inducing a biomolecule using radiation and a method for producing the same. In particular, a bioaffinity polymer is irradiated so that a polymer gel for inducing a biomolecule is produced so as to be capable of being fused with an extracellular matrix and selectively adjusting the particle size of a polymer gel or a microgel which is formed by adjusting the amount of irradiation and the amount of non-solvents. Accordingly, the granular polymer gel of the present invention can be usefully used as a tissue-engineering support and a drug carrier.
