23 Jul Promoter sequence capable of specifically promoting gene expression in muscular tissue of mammal and application thereof
Abstract
The invention relates to a promoter sequence capable of specifically promoting gene expression in the muscular tissue of a mammal. The sequence comprises a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 1 or a nucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 1. The muscular tissue specific promoter sequence further comprises enzyme sites which are located at two ends of the nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 1 or the nucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID No. 1 and are xhol and hind III, respectively. The sequence relates to an expression vector containing the muscular tissue specific promoter sequence and to application of the vector in preparation of transgenic mammals or transfection of mammal cells. The invention relates to a muscular tissue specific promoter; through construction of a corresponding expression vector, gene expression is limited to muscular tissue, so a good effect is obtained in genetic engineering. Through specific expression of an exogenous gene in the skeletal muscles of an animal, better research can be conducted on differentiation of muscles or functions of the gene and on improvement of the flavor and quality of the muscles.
