PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CELLULOSE NANOPARTICLES IN LAMINATED FORM FROM FIBROUS VEGETABLE MATERIAL.

Abstract

The present disclosure is related to a process for the preparation of cellulose nano-laminates (40-90nm) with an internal structure composed of interwoven cellulose nanofibers. The nanosheets can be processed in a similar way to cellulose nanofibers and cellulose nanocrystals. Cellulose is considered a biomaterial, which has been used at laboratory and commercial level, mainly in medicine: as cell support in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, in adsorbable implants and thin films used as a barrier. Traditionally, it is recognized that cellulose is packaged in microfibers aligned in parallel, that are braided to form millimetric fibers, which mainly have a supporting function in all terrestrial plants. The present invention, proposes a novel method for obtaining a new structure in the form of cellulose nano-sheets.
