Preparation method of upconversion luminescence silicon dioxide composite fiber with pH induction and drug release optical detection behaviors

Abstract

A surface modification method is adopted to prepare upconversion luminescence silicon dioxide composite fiber with pH induction and drug release optical detection behaviors in the invention. Double doping of rare earth elements ytterbium and erbium is adopted; the method capable of realizing a good upconversion luminescence effect is simple and convenient, and the operability is high. Firstly the surface of the upconversion luminescence silicon dioxide composite fiber is amino-modified, and then a PAA macromolecule layer is loaded on the surface of the fiber in an electrostatic bonding way; the modified fiber has strong upconversion luminescence performance. The obtained PAA-modified silicon dioxide composite fiber is uniform in material size distribution and has a stronger upconversion luminescence effect. The obtained nano fiber is good in luminescence property and large in yield, and optical detection of drug release dynamics can be achieved while controllable tumor drug release behaviors in different pH environments are realized. The novel composite nano material has a wide application prospect in the fields such as drug delivery, tissue engineering, luminescent device preparation and biological tissue imaging.
