Preparation method of graphene material/hydroxyapatite whisker composite material

Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of a graphene material/hydroxyapatite whisker composite material, and belongs to the field of biomedical materials. The hydroxyapatite whisker in the composite material of the invention uses calcium nitrate as a calcium source, diammonium phosphate to provide phosphate radicals, urea as a reaction buffer, sorbitol as a template, nitric acid to adjust the initial pH value of the reaction, and one or more or a mixture of graphene oxide and graphene as an additive. The composite is prepared by homogeneous synthesis in a water bath, and aging, washing and drying are carried out to obtain the composite material; the structure of the composite material is as below: a graphene oxide layer has a two-dimensional size of about 80 [mu]m, and hydroxyapatitewhiskers growing in the above layer have the whisker length of 15 to 100 [mu]m, and an average length about 70 [mu]m. The preparation of the composite material of the invention has the advantages ofsimple and controllable process, short production cycle and stable yield; the prepared composite material not only has the biological characteristics of the hydroxyapatite whiskers, but also has the advantages of improving mechanical properties of a matrix of the graphene oxide and graphene materials; therefore, the graphene material/hydroxyapatite whisker composite material has potential applications in bone repair and bone tissue engineering.
