Abstract
The invention relates to a preparation method of a calcium alginate fibre-reinforced tissue engineering composite scaffold, and belongs to the technical field of biomedical materials. A polyester and calcium alginate fibre composite scaffold is prepared by using a phase separation technique; polylactic acid, a polylactic acid and/or ethanol copolymer or polycaprolactone are taken as matrixes; a calcium alginate staple fibre of which the diameter is about 20mu m and the length is about 1-4mm is taken as a reinforcement body. The porosity of the prepared three-dimensional composite scaffold can be up to over 90%; transportation of nutrient substances and metabolite is facilitated; and the preparation method is applicable to adhesion, growth and differentiation of cells. After enhancement by the calcium alginate fibre is adopted, not only is the mechanical property of the composite scaffold greatly improved, but also chemical constitutions of the composite scaffold are adjusted; and the biocompatibility of the composite scaffold is improved. Therefore, the preparation method is simple and feasible, and the prepared composite scaffold can be widely applied to the field of tissue engineering.
