Abstract
The present invention relates to a porous microparticle comprising a mussel adhesive protein and a method for manufacturing the same. The porous microparticle containing the mussel adhesive protein according to the present invention is capable of minimally invasive bioinjection through a syringe and can effectively deliver therapeutic stem cells to a tissue injury site as a cell carrier. In addition, the microparticle can be widely applied to a tissue engineering support or a drug delivery system which can be applied to the size of a defective site of a tissue.
