Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature hardened type calcium phosphate porous hardened body, and a biological tissue substitute material, a system engineering scaffold and a medicine carrier medium for DDS using the calcium phosphate porous hardened body comprising pores of 70 μm or larger piercing a porous body, preferably large pores of 100 μm or larger, with these pores arranged in three-dimensional mesh shape, having sufficient porosity for vascular invasion and penetration or percolation of cells, capable of adding essential medicine for osteogenic acceleration and infection prevention and controlling medicine controlled release behavior. ;SOLUTION: The low temperature hardened type calcium phosphate porous hardened body is mainly composed of calcium phosphate and has artificially prepared through pores of 70 μm to 4 mm in diameter with porosity of 20-80%. The biological tissue substitute material, system engineering scaffold and medicine carrier medium for DDS using the low temperature hardened type calcium phosphate porous hardened body are also provided. ;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
