Abstract
The invention discloses a polyetheretherketone (PEEK) composite material with controllable strength and a preparation method thereof. The material is mainly applied to skull repair, bone replacement,scaffold materials and the like in biological tissue engineering. The polyetheretherketone composite material is prepared from the following components: 55% to 85% of a base material (polyetheretherketone) and 15% to 40% of a strength reinforcing body (hydroxyapatite, beta tricalcium phosphate, coral, bone cement and the like). The polyetheretherketone composite material with controllable strengthdisclosed by the invention has the advantages of good biocompatibility, controllable strength, easily available raw materials, and simple preparation.
