Abstract
Poly(2-carbethoxy-2-methytrimethene carbonate) is prepared with 2,2-dihydroxymethyl propionic acid as raw material and through esterification and ring-closing reaction to prepare 2-carbethoxy-2-methytrimethene carbonate monomer, and then bulk ring-opening coordination polymerization. Because of the side chain function radical, it is possible to make the polymer bond with various medicine to form controlled or sustained release polymer medicine system, bond with various bioactive molecular to improve the biological compatibility and bioactivity of material, or bond with some functional groups to alter its performance, so that the polymer may find its important application in controlled release of medicine, tissue engineering, gene treatment and other fields.
