Abstract

The invention provides PMMA (Polymethylmethacrylate)-based hydration bone cement and a preparation method and application thereof. The PMMA-based hydration bone cement is prepared by mixing one or more of PMMA, P(MMA-HEMA) or/and P(MMA-HEMA-PVA) emulsion with a solid thiophosphate salt mixture, wherein the intensity of the PMMA-based hydration bone cement is close to that of the PMMA, and has favorable compatibility of bone tissues. The invention further provides the preparation method of the PMMA-based hydration bone cement. The PMMA in the emulsion is ingeniously used for replacing PMMA powder in frequently-used bone cement, so that the heat effects in the solidifying process of the bone cement, and the content of residual monomers are greatly reduced. The whole technology is mild and simple in preparation process, and low in cost, is suitable for clinically industrialized production, and has broad and favorable application prospects in the fields of bone defect repair, centrum tumors, bone tissue engineering support materials, tooth repair materials and the like.
