Abstract

The invention relates to a physical/ chemical double-crosslinking network type high-strength gelatin hydrogel and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: correspondingly modifying gelatin and chitosan through a Traut’s agent and a methacrylic anhydride agent; preparing a methacrylic anhydride; and performing physical and chemical crosslinking by a basicsulfate solution soaking method to obtain the double-crosslinking network type high-strength gelatin-chitosan hydrogel. According to the method, the physical and chemical double-crosslinking method iscarried out to obtain the gelatin-chitosan high-strength hydrogel. The method is simple, convenient, quick, and efficient; synthetic macromolecules and harmful crosslinking agents are avoided; the prepared high-strength gelatin-chitosan hydrogel is outstanding in mechanical performance and biocompatibility. A novel ideal and method is supplied to preparation of a high-strength and biocompatible protein-based hydrogel. Therefore, the applicable scope of the protein-based hydrogel material in the fields such as the field of biological materials and tissue engineering is expanded.
