Abstract

FIELD: textile and paper.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to textile industry, in particular, to methods for joining fabrics from ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), as well as to articles including such a compound, and can be used to produce woven articles for use in various fields of engineering. Method comprises applying an edge portion of a first tissue fragment from UHMWPE to a non-marginal portion of a first fragment, or a marginal or non-marginal portion of a second tissue fragment of UHMWPE, and sewing parts of fabric with formation of connecting seam, oriented along edge of edge part of first tissue fragment and containing at least two lines. Suturing of tissue parts is performed with tension of filament of connecting seam, which provides pressing to each other longitudinal threads of fabric oriented transversally to joint seam, length of said lengthwise threads is not less than 3 cm.EFFECT: disclosed is a method of connecting tissue from ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene and an article comprising such a compound.10 cl, 1 dwg
