23 Jul METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING AND DISINFECTING TEETH FOR ISOLATING AND CULTIVATING STEM CELLS.
Abstract
Nowadays, stem cells from teeth have been isolated and cultivated to be used in cellular therapy studies, as well as oral and non-oral tissue engineering studies for evaluating the potential thereof in clinical applications. The isolation and culture of teeth stem cells is achieved through the obtention of complete teeth and tissue thereof free of any contamination. The present invention refers to a method for transporting and disinfecting teeth for isolating and cultivating stem cells, using transport and disinfection solutions that enable complete teeth tissue to be recovered, preserving their cellular viability and maintaining them free of contamination.
