METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DECORATIVE FRESCO ELEMENTS

Abstract

The method is used in civil engineering, in the interior of houses and as a decoration. It consists of producing a relief plaster-of-paris model and a silicon mould on which large grain-sized tissue is placed, and on it a mixture of plaster-of-paris, fire clay and citric acid in water is applied. After hardening the plaster-of-paris – fire clay is separated and ceramic glaze and a film of crystal glass is applied on its relief image, after which it is fired at 800-900 degrees C with a single stage of temperature decrease and increase by 80-100 degrees C at 500-600 degrees C. The produced glass painting element is decorative having a 3-dimensional relief image which cannot be destroyed under the effect of atmospheric, physical or chemical effect. 5 claims
