23 Jul METHOD FOR REGULATING THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATE OF A BIOLOGICAL OBJECT BY GAS MIXTURES
Abstract
The invention relates to medicine and medical engineering and can be used as a means for regulating the physiological state of a biological object by gas mixtures. The inventive method consists in exposing said biological object to the action of a gas mixture during at least one procedure, the object being placed in a medium containing at least one gas and one of mixture components being oxygen. The gas action on the biological object during one procedure is carried out in a cyclic mode in such a way that the saturation and/or desaturation of at least one mixture component in the tissue cells of the biological object is ensured. Said saturation and/or desaturation are carried out by producing a partial pressure difference between a component of the acting gas mixture and at least one component of the initial gas mixture of the tissue cells of the biological object, the saturation and/or desaturation being carried out in a periodical manner. Said invention makes it possible to improve the adaptation of an organism to the effects of environmental changes, increase the general resistance of the organism and can be used in the form of a therapeutic means for bronchopulmonary, cardiovascular and other diseases and for first aid.
