23 Jul Method for realizing cartilage regeneration by adopting dental mesenchymal stem cells
Abstract
The invention discloses a method for realizing cartilage regeneration by adopting dental mesenchymal stem cells. The method is characterized in that a novel co-loading system serves as a carrier for cartilage differentiation medicated by the dental mesenchymal stem cells, wherein the novel co-loading system is loaded with TFG-beta1, and arginine-glycine-aspartic acid (RGD)-coupled alginate microspheres which wrap the periodontal ligament stem cells or the gingival mesenchymal stem cells. The co-loading system is a three-dimensional, injectable and biodegradable cartilage tissue engineering cell carrying support, the in-vivo and in-vitro tests prove that the material is a high-quality cartilage regeneration model, the micro-environment and an induction signal (TFG-beta1) play an important role in survival and chondrogenic differentiation of the dental mesenchymal stem cells in the material, and two cartilage regeneration seed cells, namely, PDLSCs and GMSCs which are expected to be applied to temporomandibular joint repair are introduced for the first time.
