23 Jul Method for preparing tendon tissue artificial substitute using tussah silk
Abstract
The invention pertains to the field of biomedical materials and particularly relates to a method for preparing an artificial tendon tissue alternate by using tussah silk (Avidin). The technical proposal of the invention is that (1) the tussah silk is degummed for 2 hours with Na2CO3 of 1.5 percent under the temperature of 95 to 100 DEG C and the liquor ratio of 1 to 150 and then is washed by distilled water and dried: (2) the tussah silk and degradable silk material, with the proportion of parts by weight of 1: 0.5 to 2, are braided to be in a braid-like shape and disinfected for spare use. The preparation method of the invention has the advantages that: 1. the tussah silk has good mechanical property and biocompatibility and the specific RGD sequence of the tussah silk can improve the interaction between extracellular matrixes and cells and enhance adhesion and growth of cells on a scaffold; 2. the tussah silk and other degradable material are braided, which can result in controlling the speed of degradation of composite scaffold material for tendon tissue engineering; 3. the preparation of the scaffold has the advantages of simple process and low cost and is applicable to industrialized mass production.
