Abstract
The invention relates to a method for preparing poly (L-glutamic acid) with readily controllable molecular weight by initiating ring opening polymerization of N-carboxyanhydride (NCA for short) through an initiator and de-protecting, and belongs to the technical field of macromolecular materials. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that the initiator is dicyclohexylamine and can effectively control the molecular weight of the poly (L-glutamic acid); and iodotrimethylsilane is used as a de-protection agent and can avoid chain scission of polymer molecules. The molecular weight distribution of the prepared poly (L-glutamic acid) is narrow. The method is mild in preparation conditions, readily controllable in molecular weight and suitable for large-scale synthesis of the poly (L-glutamic acid), and meets the application requirement of the material in the fields of biomedicine and tissue engineering.
