Method for culturing chondrocytes on small intestinal submucosa collagen membrane

Abstract

The invention provides a method for culturing chondrocytes on a small intestinal submucosa collagen membrane. The method comprises the main steps of taking autochondrocytes, carrying out ex vivo amplification, and inoculating the autochondrocytes into the small intestinal submucosa collagen membrane for cultivation. After a tissue-engineered product compounded with the chondrocytes is implanted in vivo, the defective articular cartilage tissue can be effectively repaired. According to the method, the adopted collagen membrane is a natural extracellular matrix material obtained after treatment of small intestinal submucosa, has good mechanical property and good biocompatibility and is free of immunological rejection; one side of the collagen membrane is relatively coarse and is beneficial to adhesion of the chondrocytes and the other side is a smooth surface and is opposite to an articular cavity to protect the damaged part when implanted in vivo; and after the chondrocytes are implanted in vivo, degradation and regeneration are synchronous, and the chondrocytes are a good cartilage tissue engineering scaffold material.
