23 Jul METHOD AND DEVICE FOR RECORDING A PULSE WAVE AND BIOMETRIC SYSTEM
Abstract
The invention relates to medicine, biometry and electronic engineering and can be used for recording a pulse wave (1, 2, 3), measuring and studying psychophysical, physiological, cardiological and haemolytic parameters, hemodynamics in vessels and a tissue filling with blood during a noninvasive permanent or periodical monitoring of patients (4) or users of domestic electronic appliances. Said invention can also be used as a lie detector (5) or a stress detector. The invention makes it possible to record a user pulse in a stable manner by means of a compact optoelectronic transducer (6) which comprises a matrix multi-element light detector (7) containing several photosensitive regions disposed nearby and oriented in such a way that makes possible to detect local pulsation areas. The inventive biometric system is embodied in the form of a telephone provided with a pulse sensor arranged inside a telephone handset. Said system can also be used as a system for detecting terrorists.
