METHOD AND CLIP FOR CLIPPING BLOOD VESSELS, SOFT FLEXIBLE STRUCTURES AND FIXING TISSUES

Abstract

FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves constricting structure by applying a clip manufactured from biologically inert alloy possessing single-side reversible shape memory properties. The clip is deformed before being applied at a temperature below the implantation temperature to give it shape favorable for setting. The tissue is pierced with sharp clip end in the structure area and the clip is set for overlaying structure lumen. The clip is withdrawn at a temperature that is lower than implantation temperature using partial restoration of unclosed form. At least one clip branch has sharp curved end and its length is from 3 to 15 mm long in working state. The clip is manufactured from round or flattened wire or wire curved in a way that two branches are produced with hatch on internal side. EFFECT: enabled clip application with simultaneous piercing tissues and dosed compression; accelerated surgical operation. 15 cl; 6 dwg
