Mechanically-reinforced composite tissue engineering scaffold material and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention discloses a mechanically-reinforced composite tissue engineering scaffold material and a preparation method thereof. The composite material is prepared from a silk net, gelatin, silk fibroin and porous micro-spheres. The preparation method comprises the following steps: enabling the porous micro-spheres to be blended with a silk fibroin water solution and a gelatin water solution, then injecting into a mould containing the silk net, freeze-drying to obtain a silk net/gelatin/porous micro-spheres/silk fibroin composite scaffold, performing crosslinking for 8 h by 1% carbodiimide (EDC), rinsing, and drying to obtain a mechanically-reinforced final product. The scaffold material disclosed by the invention has good biocompatibility, biodegradability, and mechanical adjustability,and is suitable for repair and reconstruction of cartilage or other related clinical defects. The preparation method disclosed by the invention is simple in preparation technology, easy to operate, safe, green and environmentally friendly in preparation process, and low in cost, and is suitable for volume production.
