Abstract
medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has hingedly connected branches. Rings and measurement scale with nonius are on the long arms of the branches. Measuring protrusions are on the curved short arms of the branches. The protrusions on every branch are flat rounded plates of the same size positioned in perpendicular to the plane in which the branches move. One of the plates is rotatably attached to a branch to enable its rotation about an axis running in perpendicular to the short branch arm axis. EFFECT: high accuracy in measuring genital organ wall thickness and other tissue layer thickness; low risk for traumatic injuries to take place. 1 dwg
