Magnetic bone cement and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention provides magnetic bone cement. The magnetic bone cement is prepared from a solid phase and a liquid phase, wherein the volume/mass ratio of the liquid phase to the solid phase is 0.5mL/gto 1.2mL/g; the solid phase is a mixed material obtained by mixing dicalcium phosphate, beta-tricalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, hydroxyapatite, magnesium oxide, chitosan and a magnetic medium;the magnetic medium accounts for 3 weight percent to 20 weight percent of the total weight of the solid phase; and the liquid phase is a PBS (Phosphate Buffer Solution). A preparation method of the magnetic bone cement comprises the following steps: weighing the raw materials of the solid phase according to a formula; grinding and uniformly mixing; then adding the PBS and stirring uniformly; adding a mixture into a mold and pressing the mixture into sheets; and finally, putting the tablets into a constant-temperature shaking table with the humidity of 100 percent and the temperature 37 DEG C and hydrating for 24h to 96h. The magnetic bone cement material provided by the invention has the advantages of simple preparation technology and strong operability; and the prepared magnetic bone cement has good biological and mechanical properties and has a very great potential application value in the field of treatment of orthopedic diseases, such as tissue engineering, bio-sensing, medicine controlled release and bone tumors.
