In-vivo tissue engineering chamber

In-vivo tissue engineering chamber

Abstract

The invention discloses an in-vivo tissue engineering chamber, which consists of an upper silica gel hemisphere and a lower silica gel hemisphere, wherein surfaces of the silica gel hemispheres are provided with two or more holes; the chamber is placed under the skin of an animal or a human body through surgery; stress reaction is produced to the chamber by tissues; an enveloping cover is formed around the chamber; liquid of some tissues infiltrates into the tissue engineering chamber and fills the entire tissue engineering chamber in about 14 days; since the in-vivo infiltrated liquid comprises nutrients, tissues and cells can be cultivated; a structure of an injection port extends from the interior of the tissue engineering chamber; the injection port can be placed under the skin in vivo and can also be externally arranged; and the liquid in the tissue engineering chamber can be conveniently extracted and replenished through the injection port, so that various nutrients can be purposefully replenished to create more proper tissue and cell cultivation conditions. Since the in-vivo tissue engineering chamber is designed with different diameters, experimental requirements of different animals or human bodies can be met; and the tissue engineering chamber has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency and short consumed time.
