Abstract
FIELD: medical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: device has rod to be built in into bone tissue when used. The device has external surface having circumferentially arranged roughness. The circumferentially arranged roughness has the first and the second axial parts each having a group of circumferentially arranged protrusions having tops separated one from another in axial direction with recesses. Axial space (d) between the tops of adjacent protrusions of the first axial part is smaller than the axial space (3d) between the tops of adjacent protrusions of the second axial part. The axial spaces between the tops of adjacent protrusions of the first and the second axial parts of the circumferentially arranged roughness differ from each other. These parts serve for providing the same or essentially equal strokes. The first axial part is arranged as crown relative to the second part. Another embodiment differs in conic crown part of the rod. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in withstanding axial loads due to proliferating bone tissue into the recesses. ^ 33 cl, 7 dwg
