23 Jul HYDROGEL-POROUS BIOCERAMIC HYBRID SCAFFOLD FOR TISSUE ENGINEERING AND METHOD FOR PREPARATION THEREOF
Abstract
PURPOSE: A hydrogel-porous bioceramic fusion type scaffold for tissue engineering and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance cell growth rates and to improve the expression of main intracellular osteogenesis protein genes. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a hydrogel-porous bioceramic fusion type scaffold comprises the following steps: injecting cells into a collagen solution; dipping a porous bioceramic scaffold in a collagen solution containing the cells; gelling the collagen solution containing the cells; and inoculating the cells and cultivating the cells for 2-3 weeks. The porous bioceramic scaffold is manufactured by the following steps: making bioactive ceramic powder into slurry by dispersing the powder in ethanol; forming a thin film on a carbon mold; and obtaining the porous bioceramic scaffold.
