HUMAN IGG MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY AND PRODUCTION THEREOF AND DRUG COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the title monoclonal antibody highly protective against infection, by culture of animal cells transformed with a tissue containing genes coding H-chain, with a subclass at the stationary site changed to another subclass. CONSTITUTION:Animal cells are transformed by (A) a tissue containing genes coding the L-chain of human-type antibody, (B) a second tissue containing genes coding the H-chain, with a subclass at the stationary site changed to another subclass by the H-chain of human-type antibody, or (C) a third tissue containing genes coding the L-chain of human-type antibody and other genes coding H- chain, with a subclass at the stationary site changed to another subclass by the H-chain of human-type antibody. The resulting transformed product is then put to culture to secrete human-type antibody which is then recovered, thus obtaining the objective human IgG monoclonal antibody with a subclass of human-type antibody changed to another subclass using genetic engineering technique.
