Abstract
The invention discloses hollow bioactive glass balls, as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The hollow bioactive glass balls comprise main components of SiO2, P2O5 and CaO in the mole ratio of the SiO2 to the P2O5 to the CaO being (58-90) to (4-5) to (5-37). The preparation method of the hollow bioactive glass balls comprises the following steps of under the condition of room temperature, dissolving polyacrylic acid into anhydrous ethanol, then adjusting pH with an ammonia solution, performing stirring, performing clarification, then adding a silicon source, a phosphorus source and a calcium source, and performing continuous stirring so as to form white sol; and performing centrifugation, performing sequential washing with the anhydrous ethanol and deionized water, performing drying to obtain white powder, and placing the white powder into a Muffle furnace for calcination so as to obtain the hollow bioactive glass balls. The method disclosed by the invention is low in cost and simple and easy in operation process, glass components are adjustable, surfaces of the glass balls are free from subsidence, the biocompatibility is good, and the hollow bioactive glass balls can be used as a bone substituted material, or a bone repaired material, a bracket material in drug slow release and tissue engineering, and the like.
