Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for transplanting a polymer support into a body for treatment of articular cartilage damage and the polymer support for tissue engineering are provided to effectively and rapidly reproduce articular cartilage with good biodegradability and biocompatibility. CONSTITUTION: A polymer support for tissue engineering is manufactured high elastic (lactide / glycolide) / ε – caprolactone copolymer. The (lactide / glycolide) / ε – caprolactone copolymer has average molecular weight (Mw) of 10,000 ~ 500,000. In the (lactide / glycolide) / ε – caprolactone copolymer, a molar ratio of the (lactide / glycolide) / ε – caprolactone copolymer is 65:35 ~ 35:65. A molar ratio of the lactide and glycolide is 0:10 ~10:0 respectively.
