23 Jul GRANULAR APATITE AIMED AT DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM (DDS) AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a granular high functional material in which the shape and crystal surface of a particle constituting a material structure are controlled with the object of preparing a material having more excellent adsorption characteristic than that of the existing hydro-apatite sintered porous body and a method of preparing the same. ;SOLUTION: The granular apatite is suitable for the application such as for DDS or as a filler for chromatography and also is useful as a bone filler or a scaffold for tissue engineering. The granular apatite has more excellent adsorption characteristic, particularly selectivity than that of hydroapatite by the conventional technique and is suitable for the application as for the DDS or the filler for chromatography. ;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
