FUSION PROTEIN FOR FACILITATING BONE REGENERATION AND USE THEREOF

Abstract

PURPOSE: A fusion protein for promoting bone regeneration is provided to specifically target hydroxyapatite and to enhance differentiation and proliferation of osteoblast. CONSTITUTION: A fusion protein for promoting bone regeneration contains a carboxy terminal of fibroblast growth factor-2 protein which is bonded to an amino terminal of osteocalcin protein. The fibroblast growth factor-2 has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1. The osterocalcin has an amino acid of sequence number 2. The fusion protein is bonded with an amino terminal of fibroblast growth factor-2 protein in a poly-His region. A tissue engineering support has the fusion protein fixed on the surface of hydroxyapatite.
