23 Jul ELECTROMAGNETIC HORN TYPE ELECTRON SPIN RESONANCE APPARATUS
Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic horn type electron spin resonance apparatus that is applicable to the enhancement of ESR measuring sensitivity, the enhancement of operability due to automation, the measurement of a sample large in dielectric loss and a large-sized/much sample, the blood/tissue examination on the clinical spot in a material engineering/environmental science/medicinal field from fundamental science, the study of a redox related ageing phenomenon/carcinogenic mechanism or the like. ;SOLUTION: In the electromagnetic horn type electron spin resonance apparatus (ESR), a pair of open magnetic path special yokes are provided to either one of the peripheries of the sample on a sample placing stand in parallel as open magnetic path magnetic field generators and a magnetic field modulation coil and a magnetic field sweep coil are installed on the side of the sample in front of the respective yokes while being opposed to each other so as to be inclined by a predetermined angle (θ) and first permanent magnets keeping the magnetization direction component the same are parallelly arranged behind both coils so as to be opposed to each other in parallel, and second permanent magnets wherein a magnetization direction is set to the same direction as the first permanent magnets are arranged between the first permanent magnets and a magnetic metal is mounted on the side opposite to the sample of the second permanent magnets. ;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
