23 Jul Dissolving method for fibroin protein
Abstract
The invention relates to a dissolving method for fibroin protein. The dissolving method comprises the following steps: mixing fibroin and a solvent at a freezing temperature, maintaining freezing for a certain time, and carrying out unfreezing at room temperature; and circulating freezing and unfreezing for 2 to 6 times so as to obtain a fibroin protein solution, wherein the solvent is an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide/urea, sodium hydroxide/thiourea, lithium hydroxide/urea or lithium hydroxide/thiourea. According to the invention, through a freezing-unfreezing method, the fibroin protein is dissolved at a low temperature, and the prepared fibroin protein solution has a concentration of 8 wt% to 20 wt%. The fibroin protein solution obtained by using the method provided by the invention can be used for preparation of materials like fiber, gel, membranes, fibrous skeleton and tissue engineering scaffold.
