DEVICE FOR PHOTOTHERMOCRYOTHERAPY AND METHOD FOR THE APPLICATION THEREOF

Abstract

The invention relates to medical engineering, namely to devices for photothermocryotherapy and can be used for a vasodilatation and vasoconstriction of microvessels and also for anti-pain, anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating action. The technical advantage lies in an increased efficiency of a therapeutic thermal and cryo-action on the biotissue. The inventive device for photothermocryotherapy comprises an actuator which switches a set of thermocoolers based on Peltier elements and a set of laser and/or light-emitting diodes with emission wavelengths lying within the range of 0.00005-2.0 Wt. The thermoelectric coolers are embodied in such a way that it is possible to set the temperature of the side directed towards the bio-tissue from -20 DEG C to + 70 DEG C. The inventive device is provided with control units for setting the following: temperatures for thermo- and cryo-actions on the biotissue, a duration of cooling and warming within one cycle, a number of cycles of the thermocryoaction, the time of the action, radiation power of the emitters, a dose of the photoaction, frequency modulation of the radiation by the emitters, synchronisation of the radiation frequency with the thermocoolers. The device applies low and high heat to the biotissue and acts thereon with the photoemission. The action is performed at a fixed position of the actuator and/or with low-speed rotating and translational displacement of the actuator during 10 s to 20 min. It is possible to have a break between thermo- and cryo-actions.
